Baoule Seated Female Figure - Aboriginal Indigenous Art - Once ritualware for the Baoule people of Ivory Coast, Africa. Made of wood w/ metal bells. Seated female figure with scarification, high coiffure pulled to back to small bun at base of neck, high armbands, hands resting on knees, elongated breast with large nipples, spread legs, with metal bells tied to wrist. A piece of fabric is present from underneath figure. Measure 14" high. Item comes from the collection of Timothy Koock. Ships from Austin, Tx.
