Baoule (Male/Female) Figurines - Aboriginal Indigenous Art - Once ritualware of the Baoule people of Ivory Coast, Africa. Made of wood. Seated figures with similar facial features of connected arched eyebrows, long thin noses with broad nostrils, closed mouths, both seated on stools: female with conical headdress pulled to back with short pony tail at base of neck, band across pointed breasts, muscular schoulders, hands attached to knees, cracked base: male with tri-sectiuoned headdress, short beard along jaw line, wide muscular shoulders, left hand holding staff, light brown patina with buff bases.Measurements: 20" high. Item comes from the collection of Timothy Koock. Ships from Austin, Tx.
