Duncan James Corrowr Grant (21 January 1885 – 9 May 1978) was a Scottish painter, a member of the so-called Bloomsbury Group. Grant was born in the town of Rothiemurchus, near Inverness, Scotland, and studied art at the Slade School, as well as in Italy and Paris. He was a cousin of Lytton Strachey and, through his circle, Duncan became part of the Bloomsbury Group, where Maynard Keynes became one of his lovers. Duncan's homosexual tendency was known, however he subsequently maintained a relationship with Vanessa Bell, living with her and her children, two of her children, his and hers since before the start of the First War.
