This Vintage Depression Glass Miss America Pink Ice Lip Pitcher by Anchor Hocking is Discontinued- Actual Production dates : 1935 – 1938. This 65 Oz Ice Lip Pitcher in Miss America Pink is difficult to find. This pitcher is in Excellent condition. NO chips, cracks, or discoloration or stains.. It does have a few bubbles in the glass characteristic of many items produced during this period. It stands 7 ¼” tall x 8 ¼” spout to handle. It is a 5 piece mold- four sides and the top. One of the most striking, and certainly one of the most sought after of Hocking Depression Glass patterns, is Miss America. Anchor Hocking Manufactured Miss America only from 1935 to 1938, its short life span, as well as its beauty, add to the desirability of this pattern. Hocking did produced a full dinner service in Miss America. Miss America was available through Montgomery Wards in 1936. Headlined "Miss America ... pink or crystal glassware, 4½ cents to 25 cents each" with the footed sherbet in either pink or crystal at the low end of the scale.
