SILVER-MOUNTED HORSE HEAD CANE
Late 19th/Early 20th Century
Ivory handle carved as the head of a horse with flared nostrils and flattened ears, glass bead eyes and silver bridle. Art Nouveau-style silver collar marked "Sterling". Dark wood shaft. Warm patina.
Length 35.75".

Condition

Age lines throughout handle, with some fracturing concentrated on horse's mane. Patina slightly uneven, with some darker areas. Ferrule is orange in color, possibly stained, a replacement or simulated ivory.
