Four Pewter Plates, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut, early 19th century. Assembled group includes one plate with c. 1815 impressed marks of Philadelphia pewterer Blakslee Barns (1781-1823); one plate impressed with partial marks of Hartford, Connecticut pewterer Thomas Danforth Boardman (1784-1873); one plate impressed with mark of Samuel Danforth (1774-1816), Hartford, and inscribed 'M Rawson' on reverse; and one nine-inch plate impressed with eagle mark of Thomas Danforth III (1756-1840), Rocky Hill, Connecticut above 'T. DANFORTH / PHILADELPHIA' on reverse, largest, 20cm wide, 20cm deep, 17cm high (8 7/8in wide, 8 7/8in deep, 7/8in high).
