Fr. PA-95. A collectible circulated example of an authentic French & Indian War issue (1754-1763) Colonial note. This May 20, 1758 Pennsylvania note was Printed by BENJAMIN FRANKLIN on his famous Philadelphia Printshop Press. It has some repairs and conservation, mostly to the horizontal centerfold area sealing fold splits. It appears well centered on both sides with even circulation wear, with most of its printed text readable as shown. The reverse side has a nice central “Nature Print” of a leaf, another invention created by Franklin used as an anti-counterfeiting device. The important text below is well printed and clearly readable, “Printed by B. FRANKLIN, and D. HALL. 1758.”
