Ca. 560 BC.A terracotta temple brick of Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar II, rectangular with columns of cuneiform text mentioning the foundation of a temple by Nebuchadnezzar II. Both the construction of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon and the destruction of Jerusalem's temple are ascribed to the king. Size: L:210mm / W:125mm ; 1.05kg Provenance: Acquired in 2003, Paris from a collection of A. Kotlar since 1970s; formerly in a french collection since 1950s/1960s.
