Late Period, ca. 664-332 BC.A mummy shroud made of faience beads with a detailed face, a winged scarab, and the four Sons of Horus. The face is rendered with beige and dark green beads. Below it, a scarab symbolises rebirth, whilst the four figures guard the organs. Restrung. Size: L:220mm / W:120mm ; 60g Provenance: From the collection of a London gentleman; formerly acquired in early 2000s; previously in 1970s UK collection.
