Stunning Chinese export is from the later 19th century to earlier 20th century. Solid wood appears to be rosewood, four front doors with red lacquer panels, accented with black lacquer and calligraphy. Ribbon and foliage carvings, and applied or carved foliate accents with subtle gold. Long center shelf and three drawers, center drawer being wide, brass ring drawer pulls and original door hardware. Construction of dovetailed drawers, mortise and tenon throughout and all appearing hand crafted.? 40" x 21.5" x 36.5" tall
