WILLIAMSBURG, VIRGINIA BRUTON PARISH CHURCH PRESENTATION WEIGHTED STERLING SILVER CANDLESTICKS, SET OF FOUR, each with a single capital on an octagonal tapered stem, raised on a round foot, base engraved with "AN APPRECIATION TO REV. E. RUFFIN JONES AND JANE DABNEY JONES / 1909-1926 / BRUTON PARISH CHURCH". Impressed to underside of foot with a maker's mark for Weber-Wagner & Benson Co. of New York City, NY in addition to "STERLING / WEIGHTED / & RE-ENFORCED / 202". Circa 1926. Each 13 1/2" HOA.
Catalogue Note: Bruton Parish Church in Williamsburg, VA was established in 1674 and still exists today. Reverend E. Ruffin Jones served as rector of the church from 1909 to 1926, and this present set was a departing gift from the congregation.

Mostly in good to very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, nicks, and scattered dents; one with moderate denting having a repair at base of stem; another slightly leaning having moderate denting with repair at top of stem below capital; another example slightly leaning.
