MANCHESTER SILVER CO. "SOUTHERN ROSE" STERLING SILVER 69-PIECE FLATWARE SERVICE, pattern introduced in 1910, comprising six 7" L place/luncheon forks, six salad forks, a small cocktail/seafood fork, six cream soup spoons, six iced tea spoons, six teaspoons, six fruit/orange spoons, 12 ice cream forks, five place knives with hollow handles and stainless blades, a small meat serving fork, a lettuce serving fork, two pickle/olive forks with one having long handle, four serving/tablespoons, a sugar spoon, a small tomato server and a cheese server both with reticulated tops, a butter knife, and three pieces with hollow handles and stainless tops of a cake knife and a carving fork and knife set. Each with "STERLING" mark, most with maker's marks. Total weight excluding eight hollow-handled pieces: 58.77 ozt. Manchester Silver Co., Providence, RI (active 1887-1985). 20th century. 4 1/2" to 10 1/2" LOA.
