AUSTRIAN NEOCLASSICAL-STYLE 0.800 SILVER 43-PIECE FLATWARE SERVICE, each having a patterned handle with foliate accents, comprising six place forks, six salad forks, six teaspoon, six 5 1/4" L spoons, six butter knives, six place knives with hollow handles and stainless blades, a two-tined meat fork, a serving/tablespoon, a pair of asparagus or other serving tongs, a pair of sugar tongs, and three pieces with hollow handles and 0.800 silver blades/tines consisting of a small knife and a fish serving set of a fork and a knife. Each impressed with an Austrian toucan hallmark for 0.800 silver having "W" city mark for Vienna utilized since 1922, and a four-leaf clover maker's mark for Silberwarenfabrik Alexander Sturm of Vienna, most pieces also with "800" marks. Total weight excluding hollow-handled pieces: 64.895 ozt.; total weight of three hollow-handled pieces with 0.800 silver tops: 9.420 ozt. Second quarter 20th century. 5 1/4" to 10 1/4" LOA.

Most in very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including nicks, slight bending, one or a few minute/small dents, and slight worn spots to raised decoration; three 5 1/4" L spoons with damage to bowls.
