1890s Stunning very elaborate ecru colored slipper satin wedding gown. Extremely elaborate embroidered trim throughout dress Battenburg trimmed lace throughout. Silk taffeta lined. Many layers of lace trim at the bottom. Extremely elaborate bodice to include padded embroidered floral sprays and hand made lace. High necked collar with puff sleeves with many rows of lace. Dress in fair condition. Interior silk taffeta lining is frayed. This custom made dress was made for a ship captains wife and is entirely hand made. The label reads Caroline's Chicago.
