A Victorian silver four-handled tyg
Robert Garrard, London 1875
Of tapering cylindrical form, with lightly flared rim and gilded interior, the body with embossed bead decoration, fleur-de-lys, sunbursts and open flowerhead motifs, a vacant rectangular cartouche to one quarter, flanked by two pairs of stylised 'B' looped shaped handles with rope-twist embellishments, height 13.5cm, diameter excluding handles 12.5cm, weight 24.5oz.
