Large Victorian sterling silver serving tray, London, 1872, mark of Goldsmiths Alliance Ltd and silversmith Samuel Smily, the oval tray with raised and beaded serpentine rim, C-scroll handles, engraved with a lion and banner reading "Constans Non Temerarius" amongst foliate scrolls and birds, 3"h x 29"l x 19"w, approx. 147 ozt
