Description

Queen Anne period Britannia silver mug, Humphrey Payne, London, 1713. Hallmarked appropriately near lip. Bulbous footed form, hand hammered, with scroll handle and monogrammed engraved to the front. Measures 3.75" tall x 4" (including handle), body diameter is 2.75". Provenance: property of Earl K. Borman, Jr, purchased in 1994 from James Robinson NY. Condition: no major dents or damages, tiny subtle minor marks to rim and expected signs of age throughout, see images. Weight: 193 grams.
