Description:

(Miscellaneous English Courtiers, 17th/18th C), 6 Documents, comprising Sidney Godolphin, portion of exchequer document, signed, February 21, 1709; George Montagu Halifax, signature on a fragment of an exchequer bill [c. 1730]; John Evelyn, autograph manuscript, unsigned, nine lines in Latin, from Isaac Bosius de Magnitudine Carthaginis concerning the golden apples of the garden of Hesperides; Nicholas Vansittart Baxley, document signed, on vellum, June 30, 1815; an Oath of Fidelity to King George, and payment receipt, March 1756.

Measurements: Height: of largest 12 3/4 in. x Width: 15 1/2 in.

Condition
Overall good condition, wear to edges, some toning, creases from folding, some documents with traces of old mounting on versos.
