22 Buttons & Ribbon for Presidential Campaigns: Kennedy, McKinley, Roosevelt, etc.
A large group of political buttons (22) and a political ribbon dating from 1896 to 1964 and covering presidential and political hopefuls William Jennings Bryan, William McKinley, Theodore Roosevelt, Barry Goldwater, John F. Kennedy, Lyndon B. Johnson, and Robert F. Kennedy. There is also a Jerusalem Peace button for 1977.With light wear and soiling to all. There are a few spots of staining to the ribbon. Please refer to the photographs for further condition information.
The largest button measures 4" in diameter while the smallest button measures 0.875" in diameter. Representing the political campaigns of Bryan & Stevenson, McKinley & Theodore Roosevelt, Goldwater & Miller, and Kennedy & Johnson. One of the buttons for Goldwater's campaign has a fun, holographic effect that shows two images depending on the angle. The blue political ribbon, reading "Kennedy for Vice President" represents 1964 Robert F Kennedy's unofficial bid for Vice President.
