Chinese Embroidered Seat Cover, 19th C. Seat cover of red silk embroidered with silk and metallic threads and featuring two phoenixes in flight. One holding a floral sprig in his beak. The other one is holding two rolled scroll. Backed with pink cotton. Minor dye run on one bird, minor fade to one edge,otherwise good. Size: 61'' x 18.5'' (155 x 47 cm).
