Description

A soft cover booklet from the Pennsylvania Railroad Passenger Department dated 1894. The title page reads Suburban Homes on the Lines of the Pennsylvania Railroad within a Radius of Thirty Mils Around Philadelphia, with Useful Information for Summer-Home Seekers. The booklet is taped along the spine into a labeled cardboard binder marked with a Pennsylvania Railroad Library call number and stamped with the embossed Pennsylvania Library seal on the title page. The booklet has 118 pages with a few illustration drawings throughout and a fold out map at the back. The first page has separated from the stapled interior pages and the spine is visible. The interior pages appear to be in very good condition. The cover with gold lettering, shows moderate discoloration and has started separating from the library binder.
