Description
A pair of George V sterling silver condiment vases, London 1913 by Charles Stuart Harris Each in the George III style, of urnular form upon a spreading square form base, upturned twin C scroll handles with beaded decoration and acanthus junctions. The pull off lids of waisted domed form surmounted by a wrythen pyriform finials atop of an acanthus terminal. The lower section of bodies with embossed acanthus leaves, the upper section with a band of acanthus leaves between beaded bands, the acanthus band repeated to the foot edge. Gilt interiors. Each fully marked to the side and to the lid bezel. (2) Height – 17.2 cm / 6.25 inches Weight – 673 grams / 21.67 ozt
