Circa 180 cm x 88 cm x 75 cm. Made in China. Gold painting by local Cambodian craftsmen. Woodcarving from Chaozhou, China. Depiction of Cambodian myths and legends. Content largely from the excerpt from Vorvong & Saurivong. The original lock, made by Chinese craftsmen, is engraved with the name Li Lixing æŽåŽ†å…´. Little gold wear. Signs of wear due to age.Provenance: According to the consignor, her father Werner G. Hoffmann (1907 - 1988, former newspaper publisher, including FAZ), acquired this elaborately crafted antique cabinet from the Siamese kingdom of Ayutthaya after his visit to the then prince in Cambodia.
