ca. 1890-1910. One of the finest executed Americana book podium stands. Features a copper American Bald Eagle spreading its wings while standing on a sphere. Its spread wings allows the opposing side to have a book rest. Fitted in a cast iron tripod base with copper foliage accents mounted on scrolling feet. Measuring approx 57" high x 23" wide. Overall condition is good, as shown, see photos. No found artist or maker marks.
