Pre-Columbian, Valley of Mexico, Teotihuacan culture, ca. 3rd to 7th century CE. A hand-carved greenstone figure standing with delineated legs, arms, and neck line all formed via the string-cutting technique. The large head displays recessed eyes, a prominent nose, and full lips, all below a broad headband or cap. This figure stands as a testament to the skilled craftsmanship of the Teotihuacan civilization, conveying both the artistic sophistication and cultural significance of the era. Size: 0.625" L x 2.625" W x 5.9" H (1.6 cm x 6.7 cm x 15 cm)
