**Originally Listed At $400**

Ancient Near East, Neo-Babylonian period, ca. early to mid-1st millennium BCE. A petite stamp seal of a cylindrical form that is hand-carved from mottled dark gray stone with tan-hued inclusions. Inscribed onto the surfaces of the seal is an intriguing scene of a singular anthropomorphic figure standing amongst geometric motifs and two hieroglyphs or abstract figures. The stamp seal is perforated lengthwise through the body for suspension on a necklace strand or a bracelet. Custom putty impression included. Size: .75" L x .375" W (1.9 cm x 1 cm)

Provenance: private Corpus Christi, Texas, USA estate collection, acquired 1960s to 1970s
