Greece, Hellenistic, ca. 3rd to 1st century BCE. A mold-made pottery head of a woman featuring a youthful visage and a thick, coiled coiffure. A pair of rolled sections of hair extend back from her forehead, leading to an elaborate, tufted hairpiece piled atop her head. Size: 0.8" W x 1.3" H (2 cm x 3.3 cm); 2.8" H (7.1 cm) on included custom stand.
