The cup features a wonderful design with a stylized handle in the form of a curved reed stem. The surface is decorated with gilding, engraved floral patterns, and a commemorative inscription in Russian: 'FOR TANYA FROM FATHER, 25 / XII 1912'. The top rim and the base of the cup are adorned with a row of embossed fleur-de-lis. This is a nice Faberge item. WIKIPEDIA: Agathon FABERGE - jeweler, art collector, son of the famous jewelry master Peter Karl Gustavovich FABERGE, creator of FABERGE eggs. World's famous philatelist. He was the brother of Aleksandrine Caroline Koschke, Wilhelmine Charlotte Nicolay, Karl Faberge and Agatha Emilie FABERGE. He joined his father's house of FABERGE in 1892. From 1887 to 1892, he studied at the German Petri-Schule in St. Petersburg and at the commercial branch of the Wiedemann gymnasium.
