Christian Dior Haute Couture Dress with Shoes, 1950s

Navy silk taffeta, caviar beaded dress with squared neckline, short sleeves and full skirt. The caviar beading has an Ombré effect with the heaviest location of beading around the waist and hips. The detachable belt is fully beaded with black glass beads. The bust of the dress has two folds that have been tacked down, when on a from the folds accentuate the bust. Side zipper entry and off center back zipper, finished with a painted Eclair zipper.
