Rare Christian Dior Haute Couture by Marc Bohan for Daimaru Japan Yellow Silk Dress, S/S 1962. Labelled 'Christian Dior Exculisivite Pour La Japon par Daimaru'. "In 1953 Dior formed a licensing department. Daimaru, a Japanese department store immediately applied for a license, and the Daimaru Dior Salon opened that same year. Dior haute couture designs were then produced in Japan. Dior continued to expand the licensing business and strengthened its foundation." Very good condition. Lining shows wear. There is a spot on front. There is wear on edges around collar area.
