This stunning pocket watch was handmade around the 1900s by H. HEFLINGER in Lucerne, Switzerland. It features a white porcelain enamel dial with gold minute markers, black and blue Arabic numbering, gilt hands, and a small second at the 6 o'clock position. Overall, the piece is in very good condition considering its age and the use it must have seen. The dial is in excellent condition. Only the case gilding shows some wear. Winds up and works nicely. This stylish piece measures approx. 2" in diameter (case w/o crown) and weighs ca. 83.5 grams. Stamped "800" for a common European silver standard of 80% silver and carrying Haefliger's markers marks along with Swiss hallmarks. A very unusual antique Swiss timepiece!
