Pair of Empire goblets. France, 19th century.
In bronze and marble.
It presents some faults in the pedestal.
Measures: 32 x 11,5 x 11,5 cm.
Pair of French goblets from the Empire period, in bronze. The flared bodies finish with mouths highlighted with fretwork of eggs. The lower part of the belly is decorated with vine leaves and bunches of grapes. Bacchic masks decorate the handles, which resemble satyr's horns, and the cups rest on marble bases with a square cross-section and rectangular body.
