Robert Moore holds the honor of having the first single-owner Korean collection sold at Christie's New York, held October 16, 1986: "The Robert Moore Collection of Fine and Important Korean Ceramics." Robert Moore has also donated some of the most important Korean ceramics held in collection of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Mr. Moore felt it was time to allow someone else the honor of housing and enjoying this wonderful example of Korean Ceramics, now offered for the first time at auction.
