Navajo 1970s 12mm-23mm Green Turquoise and Solid Sterling Silver 26" Squash Blossom Necklace - This beautiful squash blossom necklace was created with handmade sterling silver "Navajo Pearl" beads and finished with sterling silver cones resembling an actual flower of the squash plant running down each side. It is finished with a large 4" crescent shaped "Naja" pendant and lined with genuine 12mm-23mm green turquoise. This necklace comes from a collection which has been housed in a vault for over 40 years. According to our seller, her parents started in the Native American jewelry business in 1972, and the family would travel to the New Mexico Native American reservations and purchase pieces directly from the tribes. They eventually went into the gold jewelry business and have kept these pieces in their private collection for over 40 years. Measurements: 26" length. Condition: Overall excellent vintage condition with very light signs of wear/patina. (WEIGHT: 305.9 grams)
