Description
A Mid century American oil on canvas painting depicting a scene of the Brooklyn Bridge, with tugboats navigating below the bridge and with the New York skyline in the background. Attributed to John F. Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States. Signed, JFK and dated 55, on the lower right. Note: Jacqueline Kennedy bought her husband a paint set for Christmas 1953, and since then the president has painted many watercolors, mostly as gifts for friends. Kennedy was very fond of sailing, so most of his work depicts floating ships and seascapes. One of a kind artwork. Mid Century American Fine Art And Wall Decor Collectibles.
Dimensions: Overall size: Frame 27 x 31 in. Image 16 x 20 in. All measurements are approximate.
