Description Wildey owned U.S. Historical Society 1851 Navy Robert E. Lee Commemorative pistol in .36 caliber with a six round capacity and a 7.5" octagon barrel. Smooth premium wood grip plates with bust medallion inlaid. Brass trigger guard and backstrap. Blued trigger, serrated hammer, cylinder, frame and barrel. Under barrel ramrod. Front fixed brass post sight. Gold embellishments on the frame, cylinder, hammer and barrel. Comes in a wooden velvet lined display case with six gold finished balls, small percussion cap container, .999 silver commemorative coin and a Dixon & Sons English made powder flask. Black Powder percussion revolver, No FFL required and ships to MOST buyers home. Condition: Very Good/Excellent with light oxidation and handling wear. Box missing key. Clean rifled bore. From the Personal collection of Wildey Firearms creator Wildey J. Moore. Wildey worked in the firearms business since the 1950's as a gunsmith, Ed Argamonte's, as a Salesman for Winchester, Stoeger, J.J. Tobler and Forenade Fabrikverken. Eventually setting out on his own to design and create the Wildey Survivor. The Survivor was most famously featured in the classic 1985 Movie Death Wish 3 with Charles Bronson.
