Description
Circa 1905 Egg Collection with Oak Display Case. The collection includes approximately 90 identified eggs. The collection includes everything from a humming bird to an alligator. The collection was assembled by Carrington Jones of Holly Springs, Mississippi until 1905. Case measures 29 1/2" X 15 1/2" X 3 1/2" High. The lot includes an ostrich egg on a contemporary brass dolphin stand. Measures 10 1/4" High on stand and the stand measures 5 5/8" Dia. at base. Condition - Most of the eggs are in good condition. The alligator looks to have hatched. The case is in good condition. See Photos.
