Illustrated soft cover, large: 8.1/4" x 11.1/2"; small stain inside front cover [see photo]; 96 pages, page # 7/8 had no text and contained four cut-out pictures-- this page is removed and the four pictures are attached on the correct spots. From all the pictures to color, only one, the Viking's ship, is colored; the exercises are completed in pencil [easy to erase] to the page 27. The bottom corners of the pages are damaged, a little wear, good condition. See photos.

Authors of several children books, McKee and Aldredge, were first and second grade teachers in Cleveland OH. Based on their teaching experience, they designed this American History textbook for primary education level (age c.6-10) with additional questions and exercises: to attached correct pictures, to color pictures and etc. Many primary schools in the United Stated used these textbooks in the late 1930s through early 1940s.
