RARE NATIVE AMERICAN NAVAJO SILVERSMITH CABINET PHOTOGRAPH, albumen print on photographer's mount, depicting a silversmith seated on a dirt floor in a log structure, surrounded by his tools and holding a bracelet, verso penciled "1901 Navajo" and with photographer imprint, "W. I. Williams & Co. / Photographers, / 914 Market Street, / In Baldwin Hotel Block / San Francisco, Cal." 1885-1887. 4 1/4" x 6 1/2" OA.

Condition
Very good condition, thumbtack hole to top center, some light denting to surface only visible in raking light, damped stain at the lower edge.
