GEORGIAN GOLD MOURNING AND OTHER JEWELRY, LOT OF THREE, comprising a rose gold urn-form pendant that tests as 10K gold fineness set with several small round-cut and square-cut garnet stones featuring a shield-form frame that is currently detached and holds a later picture, and two pieces testing less than 10K gold fineness, possibly made from a low karat gold or another metal, consisting of a heart-form brooch with applied carved shell front featuring an American spread-wing eagle with shield to chest and two bird at the top, the back with engraved "B K W" initials in block lettering, and a round-form hair-work mourning brooch/pendant having woven hair with applied "P" initial under glass and the back engraved "Mary Pierce Obt. 21 / March 1804 aet. 70". Each piece unmarked and tested for gold. Total weight of urn-form pendant without frame center: 1.1 grams. Late 18th/first half 19th century. Hair-work mourning brooch 1 3/4" D.

Condition
Urn-form pendant mostly in very good overall condition with minor wear, (updated 9/21/2023) lacking one garnet in proper right corner, possible repair to top, lacking three securing pins for the frame, remaining pin with bending, frame with back unsecured having remnants of failed soldering to edges of top and back; heart-form brooch lacking pin fastener, otherwise in very good overall condition with minor wear and surface scratches, a couple of minute dents to metal, possible repair to metal behind bird at proper right top corner; hair-work mourning brooch in very good overall condition with minor wear, surface scratches, and nicks, a few minute/minor dents to back, pin slightly bent and does not secure in clasp.
