Condition Notes: A curious collection of Victorian mourning jewelry pieces: The circular bog oak brooch centers a carved harp, symbolic of hope and the heavens, a music that soothes the woeful soul. It is surrounded by shamrocks that will bring luck and better days. The black onyx earrings are gold-plated yellow metal with 14k gold posts, no friction backs. Minor scratches to the onyx and a piece of the applied design is missing. The amphora-shaped earrings test black onyx, French hook earrings test 14k, the catch for one hook is broken. The cameo bracelet is an unknown black material, lightweight and with a layer of a lacquer material in some areas. Two doves brooch marked 18k, two cracks in the black onyx. Shell cameo necklace is jet.
