Japanese Blue and White Koransha Porcelain Vase, c.1935, from the Koransha kiln, Arita. Of baluster form, decorated with a relief molded and incised band below the shoulder depicting a finely detailed dragon in clouds chasing a flaming pearl, in white on a blue ground, with a pattern of overlapping cloud forms in blue at the neck, the foot decorated with a pattern of waves. Koransha mark in underglaze blue to the base. In tomobako.
