A RS 20M Portable Short-wave Transmitter, Austrian, circa 1941, Radione maker's badge to outer case, printed instructions to inside cover, hinged lid to front opens to series of controls and lightbulb, in grey painted metal case with leather carrying strap, together with a separate later suitcase containing accessories including power leads, Morse key, headphones, crystals, valves, and bulbs, case 9in x 13 1/2in x 6in (23cm x 34cm x 15m) accessories case 6in x 17 1/2in x 9 1/2in (15cm x 44.5cm x 24cm) (2) Footnotes: Provenance: The John Elgar-Whinney collection of clandestine radios and cipher machines.
