James MacNeil Whistler (American, 1834-1903) The Little Putney Bridge, Etching and drypoint in black ink on cream laid paper, c. 1879, with the butterfly monogram, Image-5 3/16" x 8 1/8", has margins, the full sheet measures 7 5/8" x 10", has foxing and soiling, loose and unframed. Provenance: Mortimore Howell Cobb, Palm Beach, Florida (1904-1986), the oldest living survivor of the Titanic,Sold for the Trust of June C. Underhill-Cobb, Atlantis, Florida.
