This is a bound volume of the annual reports for the Indiana, Illinois, and Iowa Railroad, which eventually became the Chicago, Indiana and Southern Railroad, from 1896 to 1914. This hardcover book has a rough cover, as the front cover has separated from the rest of the book and the binding needs restoration. However, the reports are in chronological order, and many have fine route maps on onionskin or other types of paper. Some are quite large; some are in color. One of the maps is a huge fold-out map that is still attached to the binding and has never been opened in over 100 years! Restoration of the binding would make this an amazing piece, as the reports themselves are in excellent shape. We were unable to locate any other examples up for previous sale or in other collections.
