ENGLISH STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED CERAMIC CHILDREN'S / TOY TEA ARTICLES, LOT OF 18, comprising a three-piece ironstone tea set featuring Indian pattern depicting green transfer floral design with bird and polychrome enamels, 14 brown transfer examples with romantic motif "FLORENCE" pattern including a teapot, six cup and saucer sets, and a 6 1/8" D plate, and one teapot, and a teapot with mulberry/purple transfer featuring a mill to one side and reverse a structure with tower beside water with sailboat. Marks to underside include plate having cartouche with "FLORENCE" to center and "[W] ADAMS & SONS" above, otherwise unmarked. Livesley, Powell & Co., Hanley; William Adams IV & Sons, Stoke-on-Trent, England; and other. First half 19th century. 5 5/8" HOA.

Condition
Ten undamaged; mill scene teapot having restoration to end of spout; Indian sugar having complete restoration to one handle, and each cover with some flakes and chip to underside; "Florence" teapot having spout reattached and a minor chip to end, one saucer with rim chip and one with broken and glued chips to rim, one cup having rim with minute chip and hairline and one broken in half and glued.
