Pre-Columbian, Maya 250 BCE. Large pottery canteen with burnishing marks. Bulbous protruding belly leads to a large neck opening with two ribbed handles on each side. Terracotta, cream and ochre varying colors throughout. Old loss showing root marks to the body of the canteen. Size 12 1/2" W x 10" H
