WW2 US 1905 Pattern 16 -Bayonet Dated 1918. By now the Garand bayonet was reduced to 10 inches, however these were purposely kept at the original length for use in the Pacific as a counter measure to the long bayonets of the Japanese Arisaka. This is a 1918 dated bayonet made by the Springfield Armoury, refurbished with plastic grips.
