STONEWARE DOULTON LAMBETH KEROSENE VASE LAMP, green mottled ground with relief molded stylized heavy decoration in a band over acanthus-leaf type band, vase holder with foot and brass foot, underside with cast-iron base weight impressed "J HINKS & SONS / 2342", foot of vase impressed with makers mark and name along with "3416" and inscribed initials of "MP", interior of vase with brass font holder lining, colorless glass font with matching stoneware relief molded shoulder, underside of shoulder with impressed makers mark, No. 3 brass collar. Fitted with a period setup comprising an English duplex burner, colorless with frosted finish ball-form shade with engraved stars and a brass heat ring, and a colorless chimney. Fourth quarter 19th century. 22 1/2" H to top of shade, 12 1/2" H to top of collar, 6 1/2" D foot. Shade 8 3/4" H, 4" D fitter.

Undamaged lamp and with some expected minor wear. Shade fitter with a shallow chip, heat ring and shade ring each with denting, chimney undamaged and with normal as-made rim roughness.
