DEER, DOG AND WARRIOR WITH FIGURAL STEM KEROSENE STAND LAMP WITH MATCHBOX BASE, colorless and frosted font with alternating panels of warrior, deer and a dog, cast-metal stem depicting a young child with lamb, black painted metal Edwin Beach foot with side-hinged match box and striker surface, interior marked "PAT'D MAR 20 1876", brass connector, No. 1 brass collar. Fitted with a period setup comprising an E. Miller & Co. No. 1 lip burner, and a mold-blown Cameo colorless and frosted chimney-shade. Fourth quarter 19th century. 18 1/4" H to top of chimney-shade, 10 1/4" H to top of collar, 3 7/8" SQ foot.

Condition
Lamp in excellent condition and with some scattered minor wear. Burner deflector with light denting, chimney top with flakes/roughness and a loss resulting in a crack running into the ribs, fitter with normal as-made minor flakes/roughness.
